Abstract

Objective. To combine eyebrow tail shape and position changing with effective soft tissue fixation regardless of temporal fascia position. Material and methods. A feature of original method is three-plane dissection of temporal soft tissues and combination of fixation methods by galeopexy and hemostatic sutures. Results of 25 surgeries were analyzed. Results. Mean age of patients was 45 years. In postoperative period, 1 woman had transient paresis of the frontal muscle on one side. Function recovered after 3 months. There were no hematomas. All patients were satisfied with outcomes. Conclusion. Original method allows for effective control of eyebrow tail shape and position regardless of temporal fascia position. Combination of surgical techniques ensures stable shape and position of eyebrow tail in postoperative period.
