The five articles in this issue, like those in RoSA 19.3 and other previous issues, range in time from undatable antiquity to the present. They refer to the ethical subtleties of the Mahābhārata, to legal controversy and practice in modern India, to yoga both in its South Asian origins and in its international expansion, and to Muslim and Christian practice, as well as to the Bāul tradition of Bengal, which refuses to be bounded by any religious identity. Their sources include Sanskrit texts, modern political and legal debates, interviews and online content.
