Bilobed testis, a rare entity with only seven reported cases, is described as a lobulated testis divided by a cleft. Research suggests development occurs from incomplete division of the urogenital ridge by peritoneal bands during embryogenesis. Polyorchidism (supernumery testicles) possess a complete division. Commonly asymptomatic and discovered incidentally during childhood, both are linked with inguinal hernia, cryptorchism, infertility and periodically torsion and malignancy.
