AARP Volunteer Nurse Leaders Take Action to Address National Healthcare Initiatives.

With the support of AARP, a group of volunteer nurse leaders has identified national health priorities where their leadership and nursing expertise could make a difference to improve the health and well-being of the country. In the first 2 years, the nurse leaders have strengthened AARP offerings with their healthcare expertise and presentations of information to educate the public, including supporting widespread development of patient and family advisory councils.
