Abstract
I documented an adult Fasciated Wren (Campylorhynchus fasciatus) feeding a juvenile Striped Cuckoo (Tapera naevia) in an inter-Andean seasonally dry forest of Peru. Although nest parasitism was not directly confirmed, this record suggests a possible host-parasite interaction and adds the genus Campylorhynchus among the potential hosts of T. naevia. C. fasciatus are cooperative breeders with communal nesting, adding to the evidence that T. naevia can parasitize birds with a cooperative breeding system, a phenomenon rarely documented among Neotropical cuckoos.
