In recent years, an increasing threat to fir stands has been observed in Poland due to the mass appearance of various aphid species. This phenomenon has a negative impact on the health of mainly younger forest stands, leading to their weakening and, in some cases, dieback. It has also been observed in the Babia Góra massif, where research has been conducted. The paper presents an analysis of the heteropterofauna associated with fir aphids and assesses its impact on aphid populations.
