On the Lectotypification of Dischidia bengalensis and Asclepias pallida (Apocynaceae)

The names Dischidia bengalensis and Asclepias pallida are recently (2026) lectotypified on specimens preserved at the K herbarium. However, the preposed lectotypification of D. bengalensis is superfluous due to a valid prior lectotypification (2019). On the other hand, the lectotype proposed for T. pallida lacks direct connection to the publishing author and does not qualify as original material; consequently, a new lectotype is designated.
