Revisión del concepto de chuyma comocentro intersubjetivo de la culturaaymara

The aim of this article is to analyze the concept of ‘chuyma’ as an intersubjective center of Aymara culture through a systematic literature review of various international databases. The analysis reveals that chuyma is a ‘taypi’, or feeling-thinking center, asit integrates emotions, feelings, and thoughts; therefore, it constitutes the seat where consciousness is configured and reflexivity develops. Furthermore, in the natural environment, ‘chuyma’ is linked to the inner part of plant seeds, the vital survival instinct of animals, and the central confluence of places. In conclusion, ‘chuyma’ encompasses everything related to the inner state and acts as a primary category of integration, transformation, and authentic thought, essential characteristics of Aymara sociability.
