Influence of musculoskeletal model implemented in the AnyBody Modeling System on calculated loadings acting in the lower extremity during gait

Purpose: An evaluation of the influence of the different musculoskeletal models implemented in the AnyBody Modeling System on muscle forces and joint reaction forces in the lower limb calculated as the result of numerical simulation of gait, was the main aim of the paper , using identical scaling and optimisation procedures. The study investigated whether the models predict significantly differences in muscle forces and joint reaction forces.
