The Archives of the Archaeological Survey of Sudanese Nubia (1963-1969): An overview

This article offers an overview of the archives of the Archaeological Survey of Sudanese Nubia, a large-scale survey and excavation mission carried out in northern Sudan from 1963 to 1969 in the context of the construction of the Aswan High Dam. It provides a brief presentation of the background to this fieldwork, describes the content of the archives produced during the campaign, and highlights the scientific and heritage value of their study and publication.
