This paper commemorates Peter Geach’s seminal paper and its catalytic role in the somewhat conflicted and controversial emergence of “analytical Thomism,” showing the way out of the conflicts, and the opportunities opening up on this way to engage even such “trendy” contemporary issues as computerized natural language processing and artificial intelligence.
