Qualitative research – Part 1

Previous articles in this series have explored various aspects of quantitative research. We now discuss qualitative research methods. This paper provides an overview of the differences between quantitative and qualitative research, and designs and data collection methods used in qualitative research. In subsequent articles, we will focus on sampling in qualitative research as well as techniques of data analysis.
