Powinności ciała – stereotyp kobiety a dyskurs feministyczny (na podstawie czasopisma „Silne”)

This paper presents the stereotype of the woman from a feminist perspective. The aim of the paper was to reconstruct the stereotype of woman on the basis of press material. The basis for the analysis was the online feminist magazine ‘Silne’. The author showed that feminists most often referred to two profiles of woman - as a mother and as a sexual object. Both profiles are linked by the common category of bodily duty. The image of the female gender in the discourse was presented through extreme conceptualisations of woman (e.g. machine, animal, object, etc.), accompanied by specific discursive strategies (including the use of allusion, irony, appeal).
