Basal variant of Takotsubo syndrome in early postoperative period after elective rhinoplasty

The authors present secondary Takotsubo syndrome (TS) after elective surgical intervention. In perioperative period, TS may occur as a result of physical or emotional stress provoked by surgical procedures, anesthesia and medications. A peculiarity of this case is basal variant of TS in a woman after rhinoplasty.
