Abstract
This work designed a series of cis-diphenylphosphine ethylene ligands to facilitate the Ni-catalyzed primary amination of C(sp2)-Cl bonds. The catalytic system enables the amination of (hetero)aryl chlorides with ammonium acetate, achieving the synthesis of simple aromatic and heteroaromatic amines with good compatibility. Furthermore, this air-stable and easy-to-handle Ni complex demonstrates remarkable versatility in synthetic pathways for pharmaceutical molecules.
