Spreading speed of a field-road model with nonlocal dispersal

This paper is devoted to study of the spreading speed of a field-road model with nonlocal dispersal, where the diffusion kernel and initial value have nonempty compact support. By constructing appropriate super- and sub-solutions, we establish the existence and a special asymptotic behavior of the spreading speed. Our results demonstrate that the diffusion rate and radius of the nonempty compact support of diffusion kernel on the road may accelerate the spreading speed.
