Repeat photography offers a simple but effective method for visualising changes in the landscape and can be employed in participatory scientific projects. It is used in geosciences and ecology to analyse long-term developments, in exhibitions and citizen science projects to raise awareness, and in transdisciplinary processes to open up new avenues for dialogue on sustainability and land use.
