Abstract

Hegel's Berlin lectures on the philosophy of religion were delivered during the summer semesters of 1821, 1824, 1827, and 1831. Fortunately, by now, all the lectures are available in the canonical historical-critical edition (Gesammelte Werke). The most recent addition was in 2021 with volume 29, 2, which included the 1827 and 1831 lectures, as well as the 1829 Lectures on the proofs of God's existence. The purpose of this bibliographical report is to provide a brief evaluative overview of the major German editions of Hegel's Lectures on the Philosophy of Religion.
