Abstract

The analysis presented in this study concerns the research material excerpted from Agata Romaniuk’s detective novels addressed to children of early school age. The publication concerns proper names (e.g. streets, shops, cafés and cultural institutions) present in the urban space of Cieszyn, as well as names of culinary products, such as Cieszyn sandwiches. On the one hand, the analysis includes proper names (toponyms, chrematonyms), and on the other – names comprised in the semantic field (local) culinary products. The issue of dialectalisms and anthroponyms in Agata Romaniuk’s novels has been presented in a separate article.
