Abstract
ABSTRACT Liquid state processes often involve mixing of process streams. With the development of microfluidics in chemical engineering, questions arise about analytical tools which are capable of monitoring the processes spatially and time‐resolved. Optical techniques are widely spread, which, however, require optical transparency. MRI techniques are explored to elucidate the possibilities of measuring hydrodynamic parameters and monitoring mixing with molecular, chemical information.
