Abstract
The field of aerospace technology is currently undergoing rapid development, with the focus of human space endeavors shifting from near-Earth space to lunar space. The establishment of lunar research stations and lunar bases, which represent large-scale deep space exploration, is gradually becoming a reality. These increasingly complex lunar exploration scenarios give rise to novel demands for the development of lunar intelligent robot technology. The rapid development of artificial intelligence and robotic technology in recent years, coupled with the application of deep learning, large models, and embodied intelligence, has resulted in the emergence of intelligent robots. A comprehensive examination of the integration of deep space exploration and robotic technology is imperative. Firstly, the demand for lunar surface operational capabilities is examined within the context of advancing human lunar exploration. A developmental roadmap for lunar robots is proposed, along with categorization methods. Secondly, the main technical challenges encountered in complex professional scenarios on the lunar surface are outlined. Additionally, design concepts, technical approaches, and key technology systems for lunar intelligent robots are presented. Finally, targeted experimental validation is provided for the key technologies.
