Abstract
Desmoid tumours are benign tumours that do not metastasize but can be locally aggressive, significantly impacting quality of life. Their management requires a multidisciplinary and personalised approach, ranging from active surveillance to invasive treatments, with some drug-based therapies employing recently approved medications. Image-guided techniques are key in both diagnosis and treatment, and individualised strategies are essential due to a lack of consensus on optimal treatment. This article reviews the main imaging findings for desmoid tumours that have been treated over the past 15 years in two different hospitals. It also addresses the different treatment options and the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in managing this condition.
