Abstract

Periapical cysts are the most common inflammatory odontogenic cysts and are typically managed through root canal therapy (RCT), with/without surgical intervention. However, when a vital tooth is involved, retrograde/conservative/biologically guided alternatives may be considered in carefully selected cases.
