La educación cristiana en la época moderna: fundamentos para un redescubrimiento de la fe desde el pensamiento y experiencia de Luigi Giussani

This article aims to elucidate the foundational principles required for an authentic education in faith within the context of modernity, as derived from the thought and pedagogical experience of Luigi Giussani. It begins by examining the key characteristics of this educational approach as articulated by the Italian pedagogue at the outset of his teaching activity at the Berchet Lyceum. It then analyzes the development and implications of these characteristics. The analysis is confined to Giussani’s educational texts, both theoretical and testimonial. The conclusion highlights the relevance of his pedagogical insights for sustaining an educational tradition rooted in the life of the Church amid the secular milieu in which contemporary youth find themselves.
