Abstract
Transcatheter cardiac valvular prosthesis and balloon-expandable, Meril MyvalTM, has begun to be used in percutaneous repairs of dysfunctional mitral bioprosthesis (TMVinV) as an alternative to a surgical reintervention. Its effectiveness and security, position it as a promising choice in percutaneous valvular interventions. In this case report, we provide detailed information on the implant technique of the Meril MyvalTM system in a patient with dysfunction of surgical mitral bioprosthesis, and the available clinical data published for TMVinV are reviewed.
