Abstract

This article is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Yuryevich Kondratyev, a prominent Russian social psychologist, organizer in education and science, and one of the founders of Moscow State University of Psychology and Education. The paper highlights his most significant achievements in research, organizational, and pedagogical work. The relevance of his scientific legacy to modern social psychology and practice is emphasized. M.Yu. Kondratyev made a significant contribution to the study of the social and psychological patterns of personality development and the functioning of small groups. Most of his research was conducted in various types of educational institutions, which allowed him to identify specific features of interpersonal relationships characteristic of these communities and develop methodological tools for improving their effectiveness.
