Abstract

The occurrence of the genus Macrostomion Szépligeti, 1900 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) is confirmed from India, and details on its geographical distribution in the Indian mainland and Andaman Island are provided. Macrostomion sumatranum (Enderlein, 1920) is reared from the mummified full-grown larvae (pre-pupal) of Daphnis nerii (Linnaeus, 1758) (Lepidoptera: Sphingidae) on Nerium sp., thus adding a new host record.
