Abstract
This article presented the properties of a front-load washing machine equipped with a self-balancing system and its possibility of industrial application in a series of productions. The dynamic model described the behavior of the unbalanced drum and the free elements during balancing. The article defineed the vibratory forces responsible for changing the position of the free elements concerning the drum which leads to the self-balancing phenomena. The kinetic-static model with the vibratory forces was compared with the solution of a set of differential equations. Because the difference between them is small, such a model was used for further analysis. The parameters of a real washing machine have some deviations that influence its work. Various analyses present their impact on decreas - ing the efficiency of the method. Each of them was studied to establish the residual unbalance generated. Finally, the authors proposed a procedure to establish acceptable maximum deviations for the parameters of the washing machine to obtain the required level of balancing.
