Abstract
In a patient with multiple comorbidities and soft tissue necrosis, a decellularised fish skin graft was successfully used for defect coverage. This enabled rapid granulation and complete epithelialisation within 4 months. The procedure was performed under local anaesthesia. Hyperspectral imaging (HSI) confirmed good microcirculation and tissue viability. Fish skin therefore appears to be a promising minimally invasive alternative in cases of limited operability.
