Abstract

This study explores the differing experiences of LGBTQ+ Spanish travellers when travelling solo versus in groups. By examining how these contexts affect tourist satisfaction, perceived value for money, and word-of-mouth behaviours, the research aims to provide a nuanced understanding of LGBTQ+ travellers dynamics. Through an online survey of 510 LGBTQ+ Spanish travellers, our research identifies significant differences between solo travellers and group travellers. The results reveal the complexities of LGBTQ+ travel and suggest directions for future research to encompass more diverse and comprehensive perspectives, ultimately fostering a deeper understanding of LGBTQ+ travellers' experiences.
