The single-valued extension property in Banach algebras

In this paper, we study the properties of the local spectrum for an element and the functional calculus. In addition, the single-valued extension property in Banach algebras is considered. Furthermore, the characterizations and decompositions of the single-valued extension property in Banach algebras are illustrated. At last, the perturbation of the single-valued extension property is characterized.
