Abstract
The article presents the investigations, as well as the conservation and restoration interventions carried out on an archaeological feminine clothing accessory with a decorative and functional use discovered in 2019 during excavations at the Reformed Church in Huedin (Cluj County, Romania), in the church crypts dating from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Several artifacts and textile fragments recovered from these crypts initially required in situ conservation treatments to stabilize them. Subsequently, the pieces underwent procedures specific to archaeological objects, including quarantine, disinfection, and gradual acclimatization to optimal storage and restoration conditions. The study details the investigations and surveys carried out, as well as the interventions applied to the clothing accessory.
