This chapter examines phenomenological similarities and differences between psychedelic-induced psychosis and primary psychosis and concludes that, with increasing temporal distance from the initial psychedelic "index" experience that predated the symptoms, persisting psychedelic-induced psychotic symptoms become indistinguishable from primary psychosis.
