Abstract
In addition to redescriptions of Neoalbionella etmopteri (Yamaguti, 1939), N. longicaudata (Hansen, 1923) and Pseudocharopinus markewitschi (Gusev, 1951), the new species Neoalbionella centrophoris sp. nov., N. deaniae sp. nov., N. futokarasuzame sp. nov., N. genrokuzame sp. nov., N. hydrolagi sp. nov., and N. scymnodoni sp. nov. are described. All these species were found as parasites on Chondrichthyes in the seas around Japan.
