Abstract
The performance evaluation of water conservancy construction equipment constitutes a multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) challenge. Advanced methods like Exponential TODIM (ExpTODIM) and MABAC are increasingly applied to tackle such complex evaluations. Since performance data often involves ambiguity, Probabilistic Linguistic Term Sets (PLTSs) have become a valuable tool for handling this imprecise information. This research introduces a novel integrated model, the PL-ExpTODIM-MABAC framework, designed specifically for MAGDM in environments where assessments are expressed as PLTSs. To objectively ascertain the importance of different criteria, the MEREC technique is employed to calculate attribute weights directly from the probabilistic linguistic data. The practicality and effectiveness of the proposed model are then validated through a comprehensive case study on equipment performance evaluation, demonstrating its robustness and applicability.
