Abstract
Atrial ectopic tachycardia (AET) is an uncommon but important etiology of supraventricular tachycardia. When it occurs and is incessant, it can cause significant myocardial dysfunction. We present a case of a teenager with a history of illicit drug use and anxiety who was presumed to have sinus tachycardia who subsequently was diagnosed with AET with myocardial dysfunction requiring repeated ablation.
