Abstract

The paper presents an optical system designed to improve the sensitivity of compact Raman gas analyzers based on multimode diode lasers. The factors that influence its effectiveness are considered. It is shown that the application of such a multipass system increases in the intensity of Raman signals by more than 4 times. The conditions for increasing this gain are given.
