[Schizophrenia, the clinical triggers of possible acts of hetero-violence].

Episodes of verbal and/or physical violence in schizophrenic subjects are often related to their delusional activity. Among these delusional elements, defensive reactions to experiences of harm, persecution, or hallucinatory commands to commit violent acts are observed. Knowing these patients and their pathology in order to detect and treat the clinical precursors of possible dangerous acts is an essential preventive measure.
