Abstract
The 2025 recipients of the Herbert W. Schneider Award for lifetime contributions to the advancement of American philosophy were Ivo Ibri (Pontifico Catholic University of São Paulo) and Jaime Nubiola (University of Navarra, Spain). Below are comments from Vincent Colapietro presented on the occasion of the award, highlighting the significance of these two scholars’ legacies, as well as responses that Professors Nubiola and Ibri delivered upon receiving these awards
