要旨

Interest in antiquities and archaeological heritage of Mosul has significantly increased among academic and media institutions, especially following the events that led to loss and destruction of numerous artifacts both in archaeological city and within Mosul Cultural Museum. As a result, there is a growing movement to preserve what remains and raise public awareness of historical value of these artifacts. Enhancing the spatial organization of museum displays has emerged as a vital strategy for promoting engagement with heritage artifacts and educating the public about their historical, cultural, and artistic significance. This research focuses on reorganizing the exhibits of Mosul cultural museum after its rehabilitation, considering museum's importance and extent of damage it suffered, the study begins with a re-inventory of the remaining and Rehabilitated artifacts, then applies spatial analysis (2D and 3D level) to exhibition halls with their historical exhibits (containers and contents). Based on the findings, a new spatial organization is proposed, aiming to optimize display areas and improve visitor interaction, the results demonstrate the potential of spatial analysis tools to enhance the effectiveness of museum displays and contribute to cultural heritage awareness.
