Abstract

ABSTRACT Blockchain technology serves as a developmental system for Supply Chain Management (SCM) that provides extended security together with real-time visibility through simultaneous goods tracking and transaction verification that preserves correct data integrity. This review paper examines blockchain integrated SCM systems with both strengths and future research directions in addition to key difficulties. It provides a critical study of blockchain methods regarding their influence on transaction speeds together with operational costs and latency measures and their capacity to scale supply chain networks along with power consumption analysis. An extensive comparative assessment gives insights into enhancing blockchain framework optimization for SCM.
