Abstract

The study considers the problem of reflection and passage of an acoustic wave through a multilayer medium containing a layer of viscoelastic liquid with gas bubbles covered with an elastic shell. For the water–acrylic plate–bubble liquid–acrylic plate–water system, the wave reflection and transmission coefficients are calculated and compared with experimental data. The influence of the elasticity of the carrier liquid and bubble shell on the reflection and transmission of a wave through a multilayer medium is illustrated.
