This article is a conversation among members of the Monangambee Film Collective—a nomadic Pan-African microcinema based in Lagos, Nigeria—reflecting on their experience of and approach to screening Sarah Maldoror's film Sambizanga as part of a larger program, Carceral Frames, Fugitive Dreams .
