Abstract

Professor Beth Gaze's scholarship provides an important intellectual foundation for understanding why legislative approaches such as Victoria's Gender Equality Act 2020 are driving meaningful and sustainable change for working women. In this commentary, we highlight the transformative potential of the Gender Equality Act 2020 with particular reference to how it responds to Gaze's critiques of anti-discrimination legislation and her calls for reform.
