Modes de réinvestissement des écrits de recherche dans le discours de l’étudiant : à propos de la formation à la lecture de l’écrit scientifique

Training in reading scientific texts should make it possible for the students to use the academic writings they have read to form their own utterance, first orally, then in writing. More concretely, students, during the reading phase, should know how to write notes, drafts, or even manuscripts in order to present these texts in their own forms of expression further down the line. The author of this article believes that the development of language competences in representing someone else’s arguments in one’s own discourse is a strategy that must be implemented when reading and analysing scientific writings. The objective is to structure selected ways of representing expert language in the student’s own forms of expression to account for their heterogeneity, multiple possible practices, as well as their functions.
