Abstract
Seven species from genus Cis Latreille, 1796 (Coleoptera, Ciidae) is recorded from Kazakhstan. Five species (Cis castaneus (Herbst, 1793), C. fissicornis Mellie, 1848, C. micans Fabricius, 1792, C. punctulatus Gyllenhal, 1827 and C. villosulus Marsham, 1802) are firstly reported from the country. The distribution in Kazakhstan of two species (C. boleti Scopoli, 1763 and C. comptus Gyllenhal, 1827) is clarified. Fungi scaly sawgill Neolentinus lepideus (Fr.), silver leaf disease Chondrostereum purpureum (Pers.) and Panus neostrigosus Drechsler-Santos & Wartchow are firstly recorded from Kazakhstan for C. boleti. Birch polypore Fomitopsis betulina (Bull.) are firstly recorded from Kazakhstan for C. castaneus. A pseudoscorpion common tree-chernes Chernes cimicoides (Fabricius, 1793) is cited for the first time as a predator and an entomopathogenic fungus white muscardine disease Beauveria bassiana (Bals.-Criv.) as a parasite of minute tree-fungus beetles C. boleti and C. micans. A key to known species of genus Cis from Kazakhstan is given.
