Abstract

Anaemia is common among patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI), and it might contribute to the development of secondary brain injury. However, the impact of anaemia on outcome among TBI patients remains controversial. The aim of this study was to investigate the association between acute anaemia and short‐term neurological outcome and mortality among patients with moderate to severe TBI.
