Abstract

• Minimally invasive orthognathic surgery offers significant advantages to patients. • This approach is uniquely documents the successful application of the short-split osteotomy technique to correct facial deformity resulting specifically from a gunshot wound. • The procedure resulted in a satisfactory esthetic and functional outcome, achieving with neurosensory function reported as satisfactory at two years follow-up.
