Abstract

The Air-Rail Intermodal Transport (ARIT) hub poses significant safety threats to aircraft landings. The speedy train, in particular, often causes extreme violent pantograph arcing via the articulated neutral section insulator (ANSI). The electromagnetic radiation spectrum of pantograph arcing is quite broad, covering the frequency band required by civil aviation navigation systems. As a result, to assure the safe operation of civil aviation navigation equipment, it is required to thoroughly investigate the impact of the electric railway pantograph arc on navigation signal quality. We present a novel test technique for electromagnetic interference to navigation electromagnetic evaluation in this study. We utilize the data collector to capture real-time ANSI pantograph arc radiation data.
