Mother’s Fibula in Daughter’s Tibia: A Challenging Case of Aneurysmal Bone Cyst – A Case Report

We report a rare case of a four-year-old girl with an aneurysmal bone cyst in the proximal tibia, unresponsive to polidocanol. Following marginal excision of the lesion, a 10 cm bone defect was reconstructed using a homologous fibular graft from her mother. The graft was fixed with Kirschner wires and screws. At 12 months, complete graft incorporation and functional recovery were achieved. This case highlights maternal fibular grafting as a novel and effective approach in pediatric bone defect reconstruction.
